I’m at Office Depot now, back in a Corp Finance role, but still doing some strategy (can’t get it out of my blood).
It is my third company since working for Motorola. I don’t think I’ll find another company that will keep me happy for 18 years like Motorola. Of course, the last couple (2001 – 2003) were not the greatest
After Motorola, I did some consulting work for a not-for-profit company (www.seakeepers.org), helping them with strategic planning, budgeting and project management.
I worked for CIGNA dental insurance for 2 years, first in finance, then in their business excellence / six sigma department where I worked with ex-Motorolans Leslie Behnke and David Hadd and where I earned my Green Belt.
My son, Greg is a computer science major at U of Central Florida specializing in AI and Neural Networks. He did an internship last summer at Motorola in iDEN (under David Hayes and Eric Eaton) working on a GPS pendant for dogs!

Hi Dave:
We connected a few years ago just after you left Motorola.
I wondered what came of you after we had that brief interaction.
Please email me
