My professional career started at Motorola and I must say those were some great years. I was in Land Mobile Products Sector for about four months before I was picked to be the first Mechanical Engineer for the Paging Infrastructure team in Schaumburg. The group grew so large (like the RONA bonuses) they had to move us to a large state–Texas. I managed the Mechanicals for a while. I also got to “invent” program/project management in Moto Paging–Fort Worth before it was the rage, be a part of the Marketing Team (with a focus on Base Stations in Latin America), and manage a small RF team, too. I really enjoyed the training and experiences I got to be a part of. Along with being teamed up with all the very talented Motorolans from all over.
After tours of duty at a start-up during the Internet Bubble and at BNSF Railway (applying Six Sigma of all things), I’ve decided to team up with a business partner and find places for talented people to work in Texas. Visit my company’s Web site and see if I can help you! Be on the A-List with
